Concentration in Neuroscience Program Requirements

  1. Biomedical Sciences Core Curriculum including Biomed 509 (Principles of Neurobiology)

  2. Advanced Courses

    1. The following 2 general neuroscience courses:
      Neuroanatomy/Neurophysiology (Biomed 533)
      Neurochemistry/Neuropharmacology (Biomed 532)
    2. 3 hours of focused neurosciences courses (for example)
      Neuroscience mini courses (Biomed 505)
      Other approved relevant courses
  3. Neuroscience Seminar (Biomed 535)
    (Students register each semester and present at least 1 seminar)
  4. Neuroscience Journal Club
    (Students register and make one presentation each semester.)
